Hailing from the sunny gold coast DriLoad's airy pop tunes and disco love songs reflect that sunny way of life… (Ok the bio needs work but it beats my last one that read, "look mum I'm a penguin". The moral of that situation was to always write your own biographies, and never EVER joke about biography content if somebody else is writing one for you). Nevertheless, while I do live on the Gold Coast, pop and disco love are the furthest things from my mind. Being an Analogik member I take great self-indulgent pride in being experimental, eclectic and letting my music and art manifest in whatever way they may. Some of my many musical projects include VEKtah (jungle, drum'n'bass, psy-breaks), STO-RALIN (experimental extreme), FRESCH (minimal electro beats and blips) and KOMBUCHA FALSE PROPHETS (amusingly annoying noise hardcore).

Of course there are more but quite frankly I like the anonymity to be able to write shockingly poor music and get away with it. I also write for online travel guide Bootsnall.com, as well as various musical publications that find my event and music reviews useful or entertaining. As one of the founding members of Analogik (who did the least work perhaps :) I aim to see this grow and evolve into a positive and motivated collective of artists who defy categorization and strive to blur the lines between Music, Sound, Art and Design. I wonder if I'd get away with calling myself an electronic artist in general, with avid interests in web design, prose and poetry, graphic art and all which we can bend technology towards. We have been given such an opportunity to create and evolve ourselves and those around us with our inner monologue of sound, of aural and visual imagery, made all the more easier with the constant inclusion of electronic means. It is a constant drive of mine to weave a random path between anything deemed creative or expressive (and to not so much learn from it, but to steal it and abuse it and slap it around with a rolled up newspaper until it does my warped bidding). In retrospect… maybe I really should have let someone else write my biography. Be that as it may, this is done with, so let us move on…
